What is Gayiti?

Gayiti is a fellowship backed by Gaya, a US-based AI automation startup, giving ambitious Haitian developers access to real projects, professional tools, and a global partner network. Fellows work on real assignments from Gaya's partners and local companies, and leave with real-world experience and a network that opens doors. Nothing here is handed out. Everything is earned.

Who can apply?

Developers based in Haiti who are already building and want to go further. You do not need to quit your job. Gayiti is built to fit around your current life. What it requires is genuine commitment. If you are not engaged, your spot goes to someone who is.

Is it free?

Yes. Fully funded by Gaya. No cost to participate, and fellows get access to professional tool subscriptions, including paid access to Claude Code, Windsurf, and other tools they would otherwise pay for themselves.

Will I get paid for the projects I work on?

Yes. If you make it far enough to work on real projects, you will get compensated for all the projects you help deliver.

How many people are selected per cohort?

Up to 10. Small by design. Every fellow gets real project responsibility, direct support, and meaningful access to the network.

What is the time commitment?

We cannot put a number on it. We are looking for hungry people. The more you put in, the more you get out. What matters is showing up consistently and delivering.

What will I actually work on?

Real projects from Gaya's partners and local companies. You will know what you are building, who needs it, and what success looks like before you start.

What do I walk away with?

Real-world experience on a project that matters. A strong professional network including Gaya's team and partner companies. Access to Gaya's hiring pipeline. Professional tool subscriptions. An English learning module. A polished CV and LinkedIn profile. None of it is given, all of it is earned.

Do I need to speak English?

Working English is required, and if you are not there yet, Gayiti includes an English learning module to support your journey. Program materials are in English. You do not need to be perfect to start. You need to be committed to improving.

What happens after the fellowship?

Gayiti gives you everything you need to compete. Real-world experience, a polished CV, career-ready positioning, and introductions to Gaya's network. What happens next is up to you. Our job is to make sure you are ready when the right opportunity arrives.

How does the application process work?

Submit the application form. We review on a rolling basis and respond within 2 weeks. Selected candidates may be invited for a short conversation before final acceptance. We read every application, make it worth reading.

When does Cohort 1 start?

Cohort 1 starts July 1, 2026. Accepted fellows are notified at least 2 weeks before the start date.

How is this different from a bootcamp?

Bootcamps train you in isolation and release you into the market. Gayiti gives you access to real projects, professional tools, English support, career preparation, and a direct line into Gaya's network. The difference is not just what you learn. It is what you walk away with and who knows your name when it is over.
